I am suddenly getting this error message for both my forms that were working just fine:

The parameter 'addresses' cannot be an empty string. Parameter name: addresses

I have no clue were to look for this problem - My host SMTP settings tell me when testing that all is sending just fine. Using DNN 4.5.3 and Form 1.5.5

Serious down issue so any help quickly would be appreciated.

I don't think the Exception above has to do with Form Master

From the first error message the word "addresses" only appears once in the entire Form Master code base and that is as a Code Comment.

Try Clearing the Event Log then try to generate the error on the form then check the Error Log

I got the same error. I checked the DNN User account profile in (this case: Host Users) and saw that I had a country and city specified and not a state (region). When I changed this, the error went away... to be replaced by another error, but that's another story.

This error came back. Or maybe it never went away. The problem occurs when I check the "Also send me a copy" checkbox, but not when I don't. Any ideas what's causing this? I receive other emails from the portal such as profile updated, etc.

Thanks

Joe.

Never mind, got it solved. Somehow the form lost it's lock on the email form field and was trying to send using the name field instead: Settings>Form Settings>CC Me Email.  I also discovered problems with the server and the mail server not communicating correctly as well. So, somehow, it all worked out. Thanks,

Joe.
