I'm using version 1.05.04

Clicking on the attachment link in the e-mail only results in an Access Denied page.

I have given view and edit rights to a specific role and can find no way to download attached files.  I need to enable clients to attache files to a Support Ticket and enable our Techs to download those files.  I certainly don't want to give our techs administrative rights tot he entire site.

I assume that this can be done and I'm just missing something.

Thanks,
Bill

In settings other settings you can un-check "Authenticate File Downloads"

If you want to use roles a couple of things need to be true.

1. Users must login with the "Remember Me" checked prior to trying to get the file they only need to do this once and a while if #2 is done.
2. The Web config has to have the timeout for the Authentication set to a large value like 60000 so the cookie won't timeout in 20 minutes which is the default.
