I am very confused by the tutorials online and past explainations of CSS implementation.
It appears that all the classes is this version (1.6) has been renamed based on module.css

Is this right, I having an impossible time trying to do the simplest things.  SubHead padding, input padding, etc.  My base form is all jammed together.

This module is by far the best I have used for forms.  I am surprised however, that basic padding has not been defined by default.  Any help on formatting v1.6 forms would be great.  Completely road blocked at this point...

I am the developer.

If I set a default padding, I get customers who complain about there being a default padding. I cannot win, so I do nothing.

The solution is very simple you do not need to touch module.css since this really only applise to the design section of the module anyways.

1. In Settings > Form Settings Enter MyFormClass in to the "Table Class" Field
2. Goto Admin > Site Settings Style Sheet Editor Seciton
3. Create a new line and add .MyFormClass TD {padding:5px;} ( don't forget the Period on the class name
4. Click on "Save Style Sheet" at the bottom of the Editor
5. Go to the Form page and press Shift - F5 to force the browser to load a fresh copy of Portal.css

That is it

Hope this helps.

That did it.  Thanks for the quick response.

I understand the conflict you feel keeping your customers happy.  You should not worry.  Your form module is second to none.  I will strongly recomend it to others.  But, I did not expect to have to do all my formatting out side of the module.  Unfortunately that is just a slow way to have to develop not knowing what tags to define.

Thanks again...

I was totally confused too.

In all the explanation text, it never said where you were supposed to add the CSS code to support your tags. It did a great job of explaining where to put the CSS class tags (?), but never said where to add the code. I've been going crazy looking through all the folders trying to find a form master style sheet to modify.

I was getting ready to add the CSS code to my skin.css. I guess it would work there too. So, just a quick question, if you export the form, and then import it on another site, you need to also modify the other site's style sheet with the form classes, right? The export function doesn't handle the CSS export too.

On the padding note, I'm glad you left it out - I'm working with some really constrained forms (sizewise) and need all the room I can get - I'll add padding where I can.

Love the product.

Thanks,

Joe.

I was banging my head against the wall over here.

Thanks Developer!
