Hi,

I'm currently testing the module Form Master 01.06.03 now i have the problem if i use in my dnn settings smtp.gmail.com
witch needs a ssl connect i can't send a email with the module but dnn notify mail does work.
The exact error I will post later because i can't test at work because there is ssl is blocked :(.

Does anyone if this can be solved?

The rest of the module works great, so really hope it could be solved, thanks

Greetings

Hi

I'm getting the same problem with Form master 2008. The user data is submitted fine using the portal settings but an exception occurs for the auto response email:

InnerException: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 28sm4850152wfd.4
Message: System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 28sm4850152wfd.4 at System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.CheckResponse(SmtpStatusCode statusCode, String response) at System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.Send(SmtpConnection conn, Byte[] command, String from) at System.Net.Mail.SmtpTransport.SendMail(MailAddress sender, MailAddressCollection recipients, String deliveryNotify, SmtpFailedRecipientException& exception) at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at Code5Systems.FormMaster.FormMaster.SendAutoResponder(XmlDocument resultsDoc)

Has the hot fix mentioned above been incorporated into the latest version?

Great module by the way :)

Thanks
Adam

Hi Sujay

Any suggestions on this? Have you tested the auto responder using a gmail or Google apps account? There is a slight urgency as I am due to deliver this website to my client but need to get this working first.

Thanks
Adam

Hi Steve

Thanks for the hotfix, sending mail through Google apps now works fine.

Cheers
Adam
