In FormMaster 1.6.5, we want to include in the label: 1 an apostrophe and 2 some brackets However when the form is submitted, looking at the email of the values selected/entered is sent, these characters seem to be missing!? Eg An input control with the defaults and other values set as follows: Type: Textbox Label : What is your favourite colour (e.g. Blue's point) Results in email : What is your favourite colour eg Blue s point : Red Note how the brackets and apostrophe have gone 'missing in action'? Notes: The form has the "Text Template" radio option selected in "Settings, Other Settings" ("Form Display and Action Settings" dialog and "Email Template and Format Settings" section). Does not seem to matter if the "Default" template is selected or 'Send HTML formated Email' checkbox is selected. Thanks in advance. Darren

Hi Darren,

Form Master uses the Label Names for the dataset column names and invalid characters are stripped out.
Try using Custom Template with Tokens.

Thanks & Regards,

ok - thanks Sujay for your suggestion.

We already built a custom template for our business customer to give the email the same look and feel of the website. The business owner of the form (who we've trained to build/amend it) doesn't want to have to come to us to amend this template every time they change the fields on the form. They prefer the standard behaviour where the email being sent automatically has all the fields!

This is probably a limitation of the system which hopefully could be removed in future version if it hasn't already :)
