Let me just say I think this module is great.. you have a lot of very nice functionality and I think it could be a core component in my development...
I would like to propose something to you that would be helpful...
I am using the module as a front end for forms development that submits form values to a listX module for reporting puposes. This means that I will have potentially hundreds of instances of your forms module on my site (lots of reports). Many of the parameters are the same with various reports depending on the portion of the site the user is in...
I would like the ability to do one of two things..
1. Define a reusable input that can be stored and reused. By this I mean I would define a listbox that populated a list of product classes lets say. Then when I go to build a new form I want to be able to reuse that. This would greatly speed my coding of these modules that are going to use the same things over and over again. So I am thinking basically you could let me add form items and also store the input item as a template input or something.. then when I go to add form items you would let me add template input items.... this way if there is a change to the template I can easily roll this change to all of my forms.
2. The second (though probably not as useful) is to allow a form itself to be a template... so I build a form and store it as a template.. then I can insert a module and make use of a fully functional template that is reusable.
On both of the items above they would only really be helpful if they were linked items.. in other words letting me define a template and using that as a starting point woudl probably not suffice.. I would need to be able to edit the template and have the change present in all uses of that template...
How does this sound... anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks for your time...
