I'm running: - DNN Version: 4.5.3 - SQL Server 2000 The following error occure when I select to view the report in Excel or other formats: The file you are trying to open, 'download.aspx', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now? You are using Office 2007. It opens fine in Office 2003 The CSV opens fine in Office 2007. Please use that format while I make it compatible for Office 2007. Thanks

I'm running MS Office 2007 on the pc where the error occure. The report works fine on a pc with MS Office 2003.

Hi, I've been having a similar problem as described above. I'm currently using Excel 2007. I'm exporting an Excel Worksheet from a web application. When I save it down it saves as an xls file 97-2003 Worksheet. When I open it I receive the message: "The file you are trying to open, '[filename]', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?" (Yes \| No \| Help)" I've looked into this message and most other users seem to be able to open the document fine once they select "Yes". My document should open as a neat table with a number of rows and columns. However when I select "Yes" instead it opens in one cell with various code starting with "+ADw-table+AD4APA-tr+AD4APA-td..." etc. I don't understand the problem here as from what I can tell it's simply a case of opening an Excel 2003 document in Excel 2007. I'd appreciate any help on this. Thanks, Gar

What language is your site running under? FYI: Your email bounces back The following message to xxx,xxxx@minportal.net was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.1.2 - Bad destination host 'DNS Hard Error looking up minportal.net (MX): NXDomain'

Can you let me know what version of form master 1.6.? look in Host > DesktopModules.
