First off, sorry if this isn't the place to post this tech support question, but the email I got when I purchased Form Master 2008 said that all tech support was handled through the forums. And secondly, I'm probably going ask this question incorrectly so please bear with me ;-)

I have a mapping application (Netism Extreme Map) installed on a clients DNN website along with the Form Master 2008 module. I have designed a Form Master form to gather information that, hopefully, will be used to feed the mapping module. The mapping module offers to ability to query any other table in the DNN SQL db for its information display and for geocoding map points. Apparently this is pretty straight forward using their build-in query wizard for most modules, but modules that use a more "flexible" file structure (like UDT, or Form Master) require custom queries to be written.

The mapping module developer is willing to do this for me, but he asked "as long as you can get me the query from their support..." Hopefully someone in tech support can tell what it is that he needs.

Can anyone at Code5 steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!

You could use Form Masters Data Manager and store the data in a standard SQL Server Data Table.

Thanks for the quick follow-up. I did some research using your on-line help and discovered that option. I had seen it before, but wasn't quite sure why I would ever use it. It looks like it might work.

The only thing the developer seemed concerned about was how to handle multi-select (checkbox) fields in the Form Master form I created. One has 16 elements and the other has 8 elements. I'm going to use Form Master to setup the data table today and have the developer see what he can come up with.

Thanks again!

Jim,
Handling the Multi-Valued responses has always been a crap shoot in a one size fits all application. We simply create a CSV list of the selected values. Possibly a trigger could be created to populate bit fields. Some users would like to put them in a wide table where others would like to put them in a related table.
