Hello!

I've recently taken over the management of a DNN website that heavily utilizes Form Master 2008. They've had problems in the past with their database filling up, causing the website to go down. I've found that much of the problem is caused by the Event Log filling up.

Upon closer inspection most of the errors are coming from Form Master, something relating to the Captcha.

I've done a bunch of searching online and have found similar things reported in 2008, but never found any mention of a solution.

The forms work fine, everything seems to function normally, but I get dozens of these errors a day at seemingly random intervals. I cannot replicate the problem.

The site is running DotNetNuke 5.2.1
Form Master 2008 version 2.0.3

All the errors show a UserAgent of "msnbot-media." Could this being some bot doing something whacky or malicious and causing Form Master to get confused?

First place to start is to upgrade to 2.0.8 from snowcovered.com
Form Master only makes use of the standard DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.CaptchaControl
For some reason there is an issue with the Captcha control on the site.
You can use a Captcha control on Login and Registration. Try to set that up and see if the contol works on the standard DNN Login and Registration pages.
